What Is Dr Schlessinger’s Educational Background?

Dr Laura Schlessinger was brilliant academically. She received her bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She followed up this degree with a Ph. D. from Columbia University. The subject in which she specialised while pursuing her doctorate was physiology.

When Dr Laura Schlessinger was in her early twenties, she was briefly married, but it ended in divorce. After the break-up of her first marriage, she moved to the city of Los Angeles, which is located in the state of California. Her parents had already relocated to Los Angeles by then.

She received her certification in the field of marriage, family and child counselling from the University of Southern California and then taught at the University of California, Los Angeles, at the University of California, Irvine and at Pepperdine University.
