    They say it gets about 1 degrees Fahrenheit for every 60 ft. In depth, but that would be around 100,000*C No one really believes it is that hot and say it is probably closer to around 3000-5000*C.  www.newton.dep.anl.gov

      It is hot enough to be molten and thats pretty darn hot.

        The suns inner core is 20 million degrees celsius, the earths is about 11,000F.
