We need following ingredients to make these mouth watering sweet potato biscuits.
Potatoes ( 2 medium sized, diced)
Flour (4 cups)
Brown sugar (half cup)
Baking powder (5 tsp)
Salt (1 tsp)
Butter (10 tsp)
Milk (half cup)
Take a saucepan and put potatoes and water into it for boiling. Let it cooked for fifteen to twenty minutes till the potatoes get soft and tender; then drain and mash the potatoes with the help of a spoon or fork. Now take a large bowl and put in the flour, brown sugar, the baking powder, and the salt. Take a pie blender and put this mixture into it and blend it. Then put the milk and potatoes and mix well so that they combine. After mixing well make dough and then cut it into small equal pieces.
Then place these biscuits on ungreased sheet. Then place the cookie sheet into the oven and bake for fifteen to twenty minutes. These biscuits can be served warm and you can cool them and then place them in tightly packed jars or can be wrapped up in the foil if you want to freeze them for a week. These biscuits are very nutritious as they contain two hundred calories, six grams of fats and thirty three grams of carbohydrates.
