What Is The Climate Like In Philadelphia?

    Philadelphia experiences considerable variation in climate and weather throughout the year. It is however characterized by a few days of rainfall every month of the year.

    The climate is most agreeable in fall and spring. Summers are hot and unpleasant. The snow in winter is unpredictable and chaotic. Some winters are too cold while others see no snow at all. There are at times snow storms as well, but generally winter temperatures rarely dip below freezing.  

    Rainfall is heaviest in March with 124 mm and sparsest in September at 71 mm. The months of winter extend from October to March with the lowest temperatures in January at -4 degrees Celsius. June, July and August are the warmest months. In July temperatures rise as high as 30 degrees Celsius.
