Has Anyone Tried Ketamine 0.5 Cream For Peripheral Neuropathy And Did It Work?

My husband is on cymbalta, neurontin and fentanyl patches, he needs something that will not cause any interactions with these medications. His feet are in agony, so any feedback would be appreciated.

Ketamine is an anesthetic agent and use for anesthesia during surgery. It is also available in cream form for topical or local anesthesia. Due to its anesthetic effects it can relieve pain and can be used to manage pain due peripheral neuropathy. But it is not cure of pain. The pain is related with the neuropathy which is due to some other underlying cause e.g. Diabetes. So, proper treatment is to manage diabetes. Advantage of this cream is that it is free from any side effects and interaction with other drugs. You can also use Lidocaine patch which is also a anasthetic agent in patch form.
