does it call for bakers chocolate or regular chocolate like a herseys chocolate bar?

Use semi sweet bakers chocolate or hershey's dark chocolate. Not the bitter one. LOL hope that helps
It is also any chocolate that has nothing added to it like sugar, colorings ,etc. PLAIN CHOCOLATE
