What Is The Weather In Majorca In January?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The weather in Majorca in January is quite cold at night (especially over the Tramuntana mountains and central/southern inland regions).  January is the coldest month of the year.  Night time temperatures regularly drop down to just below freezing in most areas except over the coastal parts.  By day, the maximum temperature hovers around 14-16°C.  There will be some fluctuation in temperature above and below these values during January but you shouldn't see maximum temperatures exceeding 20°C.It's quite common to see some snow in the mountains over northern Majorca during this month.  The northern part of Majorca is normally hit by the strongest winds and receives the most rain.  The southern southwestern parts of Majorca is sheltered and records the least amount of rain and the most amount of sun during this time.
