The red light camera is a kind of road safety camera. A red light camera is a simple device which is set at a traffic signal. It detects those vehicles that enter or cross a stop- line or a stop place after the traffic signal shows a red light. A red light is the indicator for a driver to stop before a particular stop line. The camera is located right at the stop line and records the events that take place over there. If you cross the stop line when the traffic signal shows a red light, this will be captured by the red light camera as a documented video proof of the breach of a law. The red light camera is positioned in a way that also records the number plate of your car so that the traffic police department can get in touch with you later.
