Parvovirus is a disease that mainly affects puppies and young adult dogs.  Adults dogs that have been appropriately vaccinated have a very, very low risk of contracting parvo.  It is a hardy virus that can last in the environment for up to 2 years.  Bleach is a something that can kill this virus.  Parvo is spread via fecal-oral contamination.  Contaminated feces infect the environment then dogs sniff/lick and become infected.  If you have bleached all areas of known contamination and have vaccinated your other dogs they should be allowed into the yard.  If any of these dogs show signs of lethargy, anorexia, vomiting or diarrhea have them tested for parvo.

If your dog is not vaccinated against parvo and it comes into contact with another dog's droppings that has it, it is highly contagious. A dog can die from it. If the a dog gets parvo, it shows in severe diarrhea and vomiting. Take special care to make sure your pooch is vaccinated against this. The vets usually vaccinate the animals against this when they vaccinate for rabies.
