Female Cockatiel Has Just Finished Sitting On A Clutch Of Eggs. How Do I Stop Her From Laying Again? She Is Displaying Mating Behaviour.

I've rearranged my furniture in the room, rearranged her furniture in her cage, removed all the toys she uses to stimulate herself and placed a new toy she doesn't like on top of her cage to make her less comfortable. I've only been spending a couple of hours a day with her and try not to pet her unless it's under her chin. She even displays mating behaviour when I speak to her. She's getting about 10-11 hours of daylight, and since I work shift work it's sometimes tough to regulate that well.

Just have her male de-sexed by a veterinarian. And, like other females, she will eventually find an outlet for her apparent feelings.

I should mention that she doesn't have a bird mate, just me. She just started laying again this morning. I found one perfect little eggie on the bottom of the cage again.
