A British passport is usually issued to individuals who are holding different forms of British nationality. In UK, British passports are granted by the Identity and Passport service.
To get a British you can simply apply on their online web-site which is www.passport.gov.uk. In British Overseas territories, British passports are granted by the governor, where as in Commonwealth or foreign nations, British passports are granted by the Passport Division of the British Consulate, Embassy or High Commission. A person can apply for British passport if he holds one of the following forms which are, British citizens (GBR), British Overseas Territories citizens, British Overseas citizens (GBO), British Subjects (GBS), British Protected Persons (GBP) and British Nationals (Overseas).
Pages cannot be added to the British Passport, and it is compulsory that at least one blank page should be there in the passport so that it remains valid.
