The Companies which supply gases and gas cylinders come under the invisible industry. Most people visualize cylinders as the ones used in cooking and heating.

Gas cylinders are also used for scuba diving. Fisherman, fireman and hospital authorities also use oxygen cylinders on a large scale. In other words cylinders are used in every industry for example the food industry uses it to produce semiconductors of various sizes and quantities.

The supply of industrial gases is essential to many industrial processes and this industry is often called the Invisible Industry. This industry is dominated by few global companies which institute standardized working practices and also follow a high standard of safety where ever they operate in the world. The legislative system that these companies operate on is different in various parts of the world.
