Gifts occupy an important place in our social life. They build our relations with other people. We exchange gifts with other people on our festivals. Or we exchange gifts between friends in our routine life. They speak of our love for one another. We exchange gifts to show our feelings and love for other.
Gift is a item which increase love and affection in both, giver and receiver. Gift is a thing which make a person surprised and give a pleasant effect. A gift must not be asked for. It should be unexpected like lily in winter. It should reflect the personality and temperament of the giver. Even a small and insignificant gift on the part of giver should be welcomed with the feeling of gratitude.
A gift must be according to his taste and need and occasion.
Another thing, which is very important that the gift should be unique which would be memorable for the receiver. A gift must be according to his need it means a dress, a watch or a book.
