Can A Person Be Stung More Than Once By One Yellow Jacket?

I was stung by a yellow jacket and it felt like 4 stings. My husband doesn't believe me. He said they only sting once. It sure hurts. I put a paste of baking soda and water on it to help take the pain away. My neighbor brought some seasoning over and I made a paste and put that on. I think the tequila worked the best; on my foot. That was 2 days ago and it is still swollen and hurts. I did take a benadryl and I don't have an allergic reaction. Sandy Preston.

Thank you for finding the info I needed. It sure felt like 4 stings and swelled up like it too. The area is still swollen, but not as bad. I guess I just need to keep my eyes open when I'm outside this time of year. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if my dog hadn't tried to bite it. Then the yellowjacket wouldn't have taken it's anger out on me.

If it was a yellow jacket they bite more than sting so you probably we're bitten more than once...just about all other stinging bugs leave their stinger and die..

I am not familiar with the rating system and meant to rate a good rating. I didn't mean to rate it BAD. I'm sorry.
Thank you for your help and information.
