A runcible spoon is a type of a fictitious utensil that appears in the nonsense poetry of Edward Lear. However in much poetry written by Edward Lear the word runcible also refers to various other types of objects rather than a spoon. In reality it is a completely non sense word. The word runcible is considered as a neologism.

It is believed that the word runcible was one of his most favourite words as it was featured in many of his works, in every poetry it refers to something different.

In his self portrait work 'How Pleasant to Know Mr. Lear, there is a line which goes "he weareth a runcible hat", other works include the mentioning of a Runcible wall, Runcible goose and a Runcible cat.
