An Online study system is the one in which a student rarely has to attend an actual college or university. He is provided with the study material through internet or traditional mail and he gets his lectures either online or on television. That way by staying at home, he gets his degree.
There are a number of merits and demerits of this system such as:
MERITS:
- It saves a lot of time.
- The student does not have to leave his house.
- It is best for house wives or working class.
- It costs much less than the traditional study system.
DEMERITS:
- The learning is less than in normal educational system.
- There is always a threat of fake institutions.
- Organizations normally do not prefer such individuals for jobs.
- A person misses the environment of a class.
- The student can not learn through the discussions that take place in a real class.
