If you feel that you may have an ulcer, or possibly another gastrointestinal problem, you should absolutely contact your doctor, especially if you can point to specific symptoms. It is true that some people spend more time than necessary worrying about their health and perceived ailments and this can have a negative impact on their work, family and mental health. This type of constant, and usually unfounded, anxiety about one's health is called Hypochondria. I am not suggesting that this may be affecting you, as you appear to be quite certain that you have stomach problems. Nevertheless, if you do go to a doctor and he/she determines that you are perfectly healthy, or if he/she diagnoses your condition and provides you with some medication to regulate the problem, you should no longer have to worry constantly about your health.
If you do have an ulcer, your symptoms may include nausea, a burning sensation in your abdomen, a sense of fatigue and possibly blood in your stool, if the ulcer is at a more advanced stage. If your doctor does determine that you have an ulcer, do not worry. This condition can be very well treated with medication, such as H2-blockers. You can help yourself by visiting your doctor and putting your mind at ease about these health concerns.
