If you study the bible that means that when the end of the world comes your body will reunite with your sould wher ever you are but your soul goes immediately. There was a 7 year old child on Opra one time that had died for a short period of time and said that she saw a bright light come and a man stood there and said child it's not your time. The EMT's ressetated her.
This may sound weird because you would think that anyone that's alive doesn't know what death is like but I do. What kind of death are you talking about. Sleeping death where you die in your sleep of woke death? Woke death is where you die when your awake.

I have always read in the bible that you don't even know that your dead because when you die your soul leaves your body immediately and either goes to heaven or hell.

That's not true. When you die, you soul leaves your body and it goes into a limbo until the endf of the world. At that time anyone who was done horrible things in their life goes to hell and everyone else goes to heaven or they stay in limbo for always and etirnity.
