    Workers share in profit has been raised to 5% and could be encashed annually. Payment of bonus has been made compulsory for industrial units employing 20 or more workers. The number of annual leaves has been raised from 10 to 14 days. Medical leave would be allowed at half pay for 16 days. Festival holidays and the grant of 10 days casual leave with pay has been made mandatory. The services of workmen would not be dispensed without assigning any reason.

    The rates of compensation for miners have been enhanced. They will get Rs. 10,000 in case of total disablement and Rs 4000/- in case of death. Workers employed for a continuous period of 3 months or for 183 days during a year will be considered permanent. labor courts have been set up to provide protection to workers against illegal dismissal or discharge by the employers.

    The employers employing 20 or more workers will pay Rs 100/- per workers as education allowance per year to the provincial Government. Complete closer of enterprise has been banned, save with prior permission of labor court. The factories Act has been made applicable to units employing 10 or more workers
