Your mother is the only one you will ever have,respect her. Mothers for the most part have our best interest at heart,I know sometimes they just seem to smother you. Give her a break,you didn't arrive with an owners manuel. Young people sometimes believe mom is not being fair,well tough luck,you can not have everything your own way. I am not trying to be negative about your complaint,but think about what your mom does for you without you ever having to ask her. Now put that shoe on your foot,I'll bet mom has to pester you to the point of anger to get you to lift a finger,be honest with yourself. Your mom loves you,try just loving her back .
