Well... first break it to her easily.. say.. "Mom, I know how much you LOVE your boyfriend and all he's nice and everything and he treats you with a lot of respect and cares for you a lot, but I'm not so sure that I like him. But I hope that doesn't bother you at all." If he's mean to you tell your mom that if he just bothers you than. Don't tell her that.

Tell her why you don't like him - be specific. Use very concrete examples, so she'll understand why you feel this way. For example, if you don't like the tone of voice he uses when he speaks to you, tell her that. Then there is something you can discuss and, hopefully, resolve.
