    South Africa is the southern most region of Africa, along with a very long coastline that runs more than 2,500 kilometers and across two oceans namely the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean. This southern most region is bordered by desert Namib to the northwest, to the east lies the Indian Ocean and Mozambique. It surrounds the countries of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Swaziland.

    This is a land known for its variation in climate and also topography. This region also has a huge count to its official languages. These languages are Afrikaans, English, Ndebele, Northern Sotho, Southern Sotho, Swati, Tsonga, Tswana, Venda, Xhosa and Zulu. The largest city of South Africa is Johannesburg. This country is also known as "The Rainbow Nation".
