What Is The Difference Between Mpeg3and Mpeg4 Players?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Mpeg3 is a video format that was brought in as an upgrade to Mpeg2 but they later found out that Mpeg2 could handle video better so Mpeg3 was phased out. Mpeg4 (or Mp4) is another more improved video format over Mpeg2. It is used most commonly on iPods and most portable movie playing devices.

Don't confuse Mpeg3 with Mp3 which is the most commonly used audio format around the world. (I should think so)

Mpeg3 is not audio. Don't get confused. Mp3 and Mpeg3 are different.
