How Is A Cactus Suited To Its Environment?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A cactus is a desert plant uniquely suited to an arid environment.  It has needles instead of leaves, and thus does not give off as much water as leaves do.  It has a fleshy body which stores water the plant can use during dry spells.  You might say it is a marvel of nature.
