My Cat Had A High Blood Count On A Test For Her Liver. Can You Help?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

You need to contact your veterinarian to discuss your cat's case.  There are several liver values you may be referring to and they can mean different things.  Cats are also prone to a secondary problem called hepatic lipidosis aka "fatty liver disease."  This disease results when cats stop eating and affects overweight cats more commonly.
There are medications that can be prescribed to protect the liver.  Also your veterinarian will help treat the cause of the liver issues or primary disease.
