Most of us associate tadpoles with frogs but they are the larval stage of amphibians.  It is during this stage that they transform (metamorphosize) from fish-like creatures with gills and fins into their adult stage developing limbs and lungs.  Tadpoles eat plants and algae while the adults are usually omnivorous consuming both plant and animal matter.  They can be found in fresh water environments, lakes and swampy areas.

Tadpoles are the first step in the process in the life of a frog after the egg hatches. They live in the water and actually get their oxygen from the water much as a fish does till just before they leave the water and become a frog as we know them.

Tadpoles is start with a life cycle. First the male frog begins to lay eggs and the male frog lives
the eggs and go away. Second few month later they begin to hatch and become tadpoles.third The tadpoles begin to grow to adults and lay the eggs again.
