How To Clean A CD?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

CDs which have been out of their covers frequently get smudged and dirty. Follow the given instructions to make your CD as good as new.

Get a clean container which is big enough to immerse a CD, then put around a tablespoon of soap or window cleaner into the container. This can also be substituted with any type of all natural cleaning liquid that is easily available. Fill the container with water and put your CD in the solution for a while. After around ten minutes, remove the CD and repeat the procedure if the CD is still dirty. Then simply shake of the water and let it dry out.

If the stains still refuse to get out, one can make use of a fine cloth and soap to rub off the smudges.
