Should I Spank My Child?

Yes, children need discipline and lots of it. Unfortunately laws have made discipline pretty much illegal so please dont get caught but a good spanking never hurt anyone and some adults should take heed and the country wouldnt be where it is today

A good hand-swat to the behind once in awhile does some good. It lets the kid know you care about them. To hell with that stupid law! What happened to America anyway? We let the state tell us how to discipline our own kids?  That is very scary...

YES! Children need spankings, just don't do it to hard or in public. And NEVER do it when you are angry and only when the child really deserves it

Well my Dad had a novel way that didnt't need spanking-but made sure i got a VERY sore bottom when i needed one!!, he would lay me across his lap or a chair and with a piece of sandpaper rubbed my bare bottom, hard, for about 30 seconds, it didnt;t hurt much as he was doing it but after a minute or two it felt like my whole bum was on fire!!-VERY sore!. Then i was made to stand in a corner hands on my head and my poor, sore, red raw little bottom on show!!. I was waving it about like crazy trying to cool it down!...oh the pain!. Then he offered cream (which was so very embarrassing having to poke your bare bottom out to your Dad at my age while he gave it a good old rub with cream)! But i ran to him for it-ANYTHING to ease the stinging!. Then it was "sorry Daddy" and i wanted a cuddle (i loved him so much). I remember my bottom was sore a good while after but it worked a treat!.

Spanking children has be happening for a long time. I personally am against it , it's cruelty and abuse. Try punishment, take away favorite hobbies, activities or whatever the child likes to do. This last long than a spanking and is more effective without hidden side effects.

Talk to the child first, and see what going on.
