Where Can I Find A Home For My Dog?

I can no longer take care of my Shiba Inu. Yuma is such a sweet loving dog. I do have papers. I have had Yuma for about 4 yrs. I am looking for someone that understands her breed and well love her and take care as well as I have. She needs a very good home.

Call the local SPCA in your area, they should be able to at least tell you where you can take the pup for adoption out to someone. Sorry that you have to get rid of her. Hope this helps.

That's a good point! CALL the SPCA. Don't drop your loved one off there tho. Alot of SPCA's are over crowded right now due to foreclosures, and homeowners not being able to take animals with them when they leave their homes. Unfortunately, a lot of these little ones are being put to sleep :0( Also, call your local major pet store chain(like petco). They are often hooked up with actual rescue agencies that will foster you pup until a permanent home is found. I volunteer for a rescue agency in Pa. They are good ppl with huge hearts and will help the best they can. I'm sorry you have to give your dog away. Hopefully things will work out for both of you tho. Lots of Luck!

You can call your local shelter and they may charge a small fee but they will find a good home as they screen their clients before they can go with any animal.
