Answer Question

CCJ is a financial term. It is the abbreviation of County Court Judgment. It is a court order made against a debtor regarding his outstanding debts and credits. A CCJ has to be paid within a time limit of thirty days to avoid its listing in the credit register. If there are listings of CCJ's on the credit register then it can have great adverse effects in mortgage and loan options of a person. If you are refused credit then one of the reasons is that a CCJ may have been made against you.

Whenever a CCJ is made it is recorded in the Register of Judgments, Orders and Fines. Hence you can find out about the CCJ in your name by checking this register. You can also find out about the CCJ from the credit reference agencies. They usually have a copy of your CCJ and would provide you with one if you put in a request. Pay off your CCJ as soon as possible to avoid further troubles and entanglements.
