Running your computer in Safe Mode is no more dangerous than any normal mode. Eventually it will begin to run slower because of an increase in CPU and memory usage or a build up of files and folders.
What Safe Mode does is to load the very basic of hardware drivers, such as mouse and keyboard. It also loads the basic of software and uses RAM without virtual memory. All of this is to save computer resources so you may learn why a certain program or hardware caused an unwanted response. (Why did the computer crash on me?). As a result you will not be able to get onto the internet or save certain files.
If your computer is constantly booting into Safe Mode then the most likely problem is a program or update that you recently installed or a hardware driver conflicting with other drivers. Go into Device Manager through the Control Panel and see if there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on one of the hardware items or if there is a circle with question mark. Remove the hardware driver using Device Manager and reboot. If the item is software related, go into the Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs section. Remove the last 3 most recent updates and/or programs that were installed and reboot.
If the computer still wants to reboot in Safe Mode then go to System Restore by typing it in the Start Search box inside the Start button. Choose a restore point that is 3 weeks to a month early or to a point before you remember when Safe Mode began to show up. Reboot. Your problem should now go away.
