Well I put a big huge Christmas tree up in the living room. And white Christmas light around the front house, and greenery around the stairs in the house.... And stockings up around the fireplace. With cozy candles that smells like cinnamon everywhere!

We have the big 7' tall tree in the library. It has all the heirloom ornaments and about 500 lights. Last year I did all white lights on the tree with 100 multi colored lights buried around the trunk all the way to the top. This year I will have multi colored lights and white lights around the trunk. We have beautiful old fashioned blue lights around the entire roof line and every window is rimmed with multi color lights. We have smaller trees in the family room, the bedrooms, and my studio. The tree in my studio stays up all year and has a variety of mementos on it. I have lights on the outside of my studio and the ATV repair shop. We have a big plastic santa, snowman and pooh as santa (LOL) and 4 penguins. I have lots of table decorations, christmas linens, dishes, wreaths, musical decorations including a big music box (about 24" tall) that looks like santa's workshop and plays several christmas songs, and a set of cu-cu clocks that have disney characters that "sing" carols. Ummm.. is it too early to decorate now?? LOL!!

We always have a large tree, with plenty of lights. I run garland and lights along the breakfast bar, along with up the post, and around the windows, and also put garland there. I paint my windows with poster paints, and every year I pick a different picture to paint. Since we don't have a fireplace, I hang the stocking on the wall to further decorate. Poinsettia's on the coffee table, or a red and green candle set up. I decorate the door with the cards that we get in the mail, and put a wreath and bells on the outside of the door.

At our house, we have a ten foot tree in the living room, and we decorate the tree with all of the ornaments that my family has from the past years.  We also hang up the christmas lights outside of our house.  Presents are under the tree.

We light up the outside with icicle lights and C9s' around the roofline and candycanes up the walkway. A big wreath on the front door. I make a new one every year and plenty for family and friends. We decorate the front porch and light up the lamp post out front.
Inside; garland with pinecones all around. A live Christmas tree, which is changed every year, but the special keepsake ornaments always have their place on it. Blue and silver on the tree with lots of snow all over it is my favorite. Clear twinkling lights combined with larger blue and clear ones.
Christmas is my favorite time of year.

We put up a decent sized tree in our family room, a real tree by the way, and decorate it with a bunch of ornaments. We have a fake tree for our living room and we usually put up a nativity scene outside.

Lots and lots of greenery and lights on the mantle, the piano the buffet, andlotsof light and lots of ornaments on the tree- just load it down.  i hanve 3 nativity sets, 2 go in the living room and one in the kitchen,  I have a table top tree in the kitchen decorated with kitcheny items, like candies, gingerbread people, mini cookie cutters, etc- I find all that at walmart.  Christmas towels in the kitchen and bath , i decorate the bathroom too in blue snowmen, snowflakes etc,  i also add a little greenery and a small bow to things that I cannot take down to make it festive...... And LOTS of Christmas candles- spicy scents really make it smell like Christmas.  lots of wreaths  on the doors, and above the buffet and piano. ,and if I have a party I partially fill the bathtub with water, add the red and green decorative marbles and float candles in it, with a scented candle on the side of the tub.  I collect Santas, they are out all year in a curio bought just for them.  and Christmas carols playing in the background.  I love Christmas, and decorate every room, I even have a tree in my room,  with green lights, hot pink beads and hot pink snowflakes and bulbs.  don't have to spend alot $$ just go to Wal Mart.  I have even found neat things at dollar general

Where do I start.  Like every one, we put up a tree.  I also put our stockings on the spiral staircase that goes to my loft.  There are four people in our family so I try to space them evenly.  We then put lights and evergreen garland (fake) along the railing of the loft.  I also have a santa and two snowmen made from old fence posts that we put out along with the nativity and our Dickens village.  That's pretty much it for the inside.  For the outside, we put up clear icicle lights along the front of our house.  I also put up lights (clear) and garland around our doors (including the garage doors).  We also have a lightup santa, soldier and nativity that gets put up.  I'm sure I'm forgetting something but I think you get the idea.
