Cool things about classic Saab 900-owning are too numerous to list , but here are some favourites:
• The look of horror on the face of the driver behind you at the pumps when you switch on to leave the filling station
• Ditto pedestrians crossing the forecourt behind your car
• That engine noise when you press the loud pedal
• Being able to walk along the street and say, "Here's a Saab coming" without having to look round to check
• Being able to drive around in your favourite armchair
• The cavernous boot space
• Being able to take a seat on the bumper
• Being able to spot your car almost instantly in the car park
• The uncanny way your car keys always end up in your left hand
• Stabbing between the seats with the ignition key whenever you hop into the driver's seat of any other vehicle
