    Alan Shearer, former Southampton, Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United player is the record Premiership goal scorer with two hundred and sixty goals.  During his playing career, Shearer was the top premiership goal scorer in three different seasons and was also amongst the top ten highest goal scorers in ten out of his fourteen seasons in the premiership.  Andrew Cole, the former Arsenal, Bristol City, Newcastle, Man Utd, Fulham, Man City and current Portsmouth player is next with one hundred and eighty seven goals.  Thierry Henry, the current Arsenal player is third with one hundred and seventy one.  In all, out of the top ten all time premier league goal scorers, six are still playing; alongside Henry and Cole, Robbie Fowler (one hundred and sixty one), Teddy Sheringham (one hundred and forty seven), Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (one hundred and twenty six) and Michael Owen (one hundred and twenty five) are the other four, with there current club sides being Liverpool, West ham United, Charlton Athletic and Newcastle United.
