My dog ate chocolate and we sat up with her all nite. She vomitted a lot. Walked her a lot she was better in the morning. She's a small dog. We were not near a vet. Hopefully walking and waiting will work for your dog

Only baking chocolate is deadly to dogs. Candy bars and things like that will only make it sick. It will puke and crap everywhere so keep it in a room without carpet.
