A tall organisational structure is one way that a company can be organised, This type of organisational structure has many levels of management and supervision. It runs from the top of the organisation, for example Chief Executive, down to the bottom of the organisation, shop floor worker.
In a tall structure each manager has a small span of control and there are many ranks.

A tall organization structure has more hierarchy and each level has a small span of control.
It has more than 3 managerial level and less than 5 persons reporting to one manager or supervisor.
