Frank Miller is a well renowned artist, writer and film director famous for his comic books which have a distinctive film noir style. He was born on the 27th of January 1957 in Olney, Maryland. Two of his most renowned comics that were even adapted into movies were "Sin City" and "The 300". Other notable works of the author include Ronin, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Daredevil: Born Again.
Frank Miller is known to be an avid comic fan right from his childhood. His works started to get published in the year 1978 and during the 80s he worked primarily for Marvel Comics. Later in the 90s he left them to come and work for Dark Horse Comics. In the 90s Miller had also worked on the scripts of the Robocop films. After receiving a thorough bashing from the critics he vowed never allow films to be made of his comics.
