You can straighten your hair by using a curling relaxer which can be purchased near the shampoos - and you can go to a beauty parlor and have it done - professionally done it will be fine - to do it yourself can ruin your hair.

After shampooing your hair, put in a straightening creme that you can purchase at any saloon or walmart, etc....
Blow dry your hair with your fingers pulling it down like your are straightening it. Once it is dry pull up the top part of your hair in a clip, then run a straightening iron down the hair that is not in a clip. Then pull more hair out of clip and do the same thing.

Oh, it's such a process! I've tried for years to get straight hair, mine is so curly, and I've tried just about every thing, chemicals, flat irons, big rollers, it all works for a little while, and then wham! Back to curls, so now I have really long hair, the curls are still there but not so crazy, and I can do a ton of things with it. That's my only solution. Let your hair grow.

Hello!
There is a new process now for your hair called the Brazilian Blowout or Brazilian Straightening. Read about Brazilian Straightening/Blowout . It can leave your hair extra straight, even after blow-drying. It can last for a few months before you need to have it done again.
The Brazilian Blowout is different than the popular Japanese Hair Straightening in that it doesn't alter the makeup of the hair like the Japanese system does. Japanese hair straightening is permanent, meaning that the hair that is straightened will stay that way until the hair grows out. You would need to go in to the salon every few months to get your roots straightened.
Since Japanese straightening alters the chemical structure of your hair, it can cause serious damage. You really shouldn't get this done to your hair if it is fragile or damaged in any way.
There are also over the counter products in the drugstore that you can try to straighten your hair on a more permanent basis.
Other than Brazilian Blowout and Japanese Straightening, the methods that others have mentioned here - use smoothing creme, blow dry with fingers, use flat iron - are effective. As with all treatments and styling that is done to the hair, you should always apply a heat protecting product to the hair to protect it from heat damage.
