What Is The Difference Between Manual Transmission And Automatic One?
May be the fuel economy, performance, maintenance, which one is better?
Answers
An automatic transmission shifts the gears automatically, whereas a manual transmission requires you to shift these gears yourself. In the automatic transmission vehicle, you select the gear you want to be in and the transmission shifts into higher and lower gears by itself. This is better for the driver because it does not require much effort like the manual transmission

The question says it itself the difference is
on the manual trans you press the clutch

up,down or reverse depends on you
automatic trans shift the gears depending on the speed of the vehicle except that you have to shift from park to drive or
