In order to win in Formula 1 2005 a set of points have to be accumulated to win. Naturally the player with the maximum number of points matters. After each race the top eight finalists get a set of points. These points are allocated to both the driver and the constructors. From first position to eight the points allocated are ten, eight, six, five, four, three, two and one respectively. At the end of each season the driver who has accumulated the most points gets the award of world champion and the constructor or team which has accumulated the most points gets the award of constructors' champion, For example if the driver comes fourth he will be awarded five points and if his team-mate comes eight he will get one point giving the team a cumulative score of six points.
