Do Banks Have To Cash Money Orders?

    No about the only thing you can do is make a deposit with it into your bank account.

      Yes they even give out money orders when u close an account and they dont have the cash in their drawers

        The answer is no. Specially if you don't bank with them. IF they decide they don't want to cash your money order they reserve the right to do that. I agree with who ever said to deposit the money order. Then the funds might still be on hold, the reason is because of fraud. Money orders are easy to be duplicated so they just want to make sure the m.o is GOOD. So NO.
