A real estate agent is also referred to as a Land agent. The tasks that a real estate agent is supposed to perform include coordination between the real estate divisions of a company and negotiate on behalf of them for the acquisition and disposition of property in the best possible manner. They are responsible for the preparation of lease agreements, recording and maintaining rental receipts, researching the zones that are located in different areas, managing the company’s properties etc.

The real estate agent has to decide when the property has to be acquired, renovated, disposed, leased, etc. Their tasks can also include negotiating contracts with sellers of property and land. Real estate agents within companies make sure that all payments relating to the properties have been paid in a timely manner.
