Can U Get Stds After A Full Hysterectomy?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Hysterectomy is removal of female reproductive system. It can be partial or complete. Sexually transmitted diseases are those which spread during sex with infected partner. Hysterectomy either full or partial can not protect you against STD because  STD can cause vaginal inflammation and urinary tract infection. In case of hysterectomy, infection can not spread further to uterus, cervix or fallopian tubes as these parts are not present.
