What Is A Patellar And How Is It Tested?
asked 2 years ago
Answers
The patella is also known as the kneecap. To test for injury requires an xray, CT snac or MRI. There is a test known as a deep tendon reflex that tests the reflex of the patellar ligament. It's what the doctor does when he or she taps your leg just below the kneecap with that little hammer and your leg jumps pr twitches in response.
