Why Does My Cat Not Want To Come Into The House Anymore?

He is 10 years old. We adopted him in July and he has settled well into his new home. However, over the past three nights, he refuses to come indoors and prefers to sleep on some cushions on the garden bench. I am so concerned as it is getting cold outside. He potters about the garden all day and seems normal, but he just won't come in anymore. Any advice would be great. By the way, he has no tail - apparently this was bitten off by a dog years ago).

Your cat is still suffering from “Separation anxiety”. You have adopted this cat recently so it will take time to adjust in new environment. To create attraction in cat for your house, put some delicious food at the door. Don’t let it roam around in cold. It will make it sick. Bring another cat for it to make its feel like home.
