I've Read That In Britain Most Cats Are Indoor/outdoor. How Do People Keep The Fleas Out When The Cats Come In?

I live in Chicago and for about a year I've been taking care of a a stray cat which has become indoor/outdoor. I worry about the cat bringing in fleas so when I read about British cats being indoor/outdoor I wondered how people there deal with this.

Well there are many sprays and shampoos that can be used to get rid of fleas and your pets will be protected from fleas. Due to rough weather conditions in Britain mostly people live indoor so mostly cats move indoor so you should use sprays and shampoos to keep your pets safe.

I put drops on my cats called frontline. If they get fleas, (and they will inevitably come into contact with them), the fleas die when they bite the cat preventing them from becoming a problem.
