My Puppy Has Diarrhea, Vomiting, Lack Of Appetite, And Lack Of Energy. Does He Have Parvo?

When I first met Jacko he was a very cheerful puppy and had a lot of energy, but now he still has a little energy but not like I know a puppy should have. He also bites if you try to touch him. He also has not Had any of his shots, but the old owner said that he was dewormed.

This puppy needs to go to a veterinarian immediately!  An unvaccinated puppy that starts vomiting, having diarrhea, stops eating, and is depressed makes parvovirus the number one concern.  This is a potentially fatal disease and the prognosis is poor without aggressive therapy.  The virus attacks the lining of the intestine and allows bacteria from the intestines to get into the rest of the body resulting in a systemic infection.  This is also a preventable disease--if you have any other puppies or young dogs at home have them vaccinated.

See buddy the symptoms you are telling can be of Canine parvovirus
the main symptoms of cpv are lethargy, vomiting, fever, diarrhea
usually bloody which puppy will show in three to ten days of getting infected diarrhea and vomiting would lead dis balance in electrolytes bloody stools will cause anemia and other secondary infection  and loss of proteins and endotoxins escaping into blood stream causing endotoxemia in this stage
dog produce a distinct smell  the wbc count in blood drops which would led to death however this infection can be cured also but
its successes rates depends on how early it is diagnosed so i would suggest you to contact your vet early as soon as possible.

It souns more like tick bite fever. Has he been outdoors alot? Check his gums if they are really pale then you better get him to a vet. The bacteria that is injected by die tick invade the red blood cells.. So the immune system tells the body ther is something wrong with the red blood cells then he brakes the cells up, to a resault almost like blood loss. Please take him to the vet and make sure he still gets his yearly injections even though he did not have his first ones.
        Hope it goes well.

Yes. It tuned out to be Parvo. I called my vet and was able to bet meds for him, he is doing a lot betterhe, is now eating small amounts and is also drinking a little. I still have to force feed in water to keep him hydrated but it's still ruff he bites, I guess that's just normal for him. I found out he was rescued from children who were abusing him. I am still praying for him and he is still a little weak. I am now encouraging a lot of rest. Now I need to find out how to stop him from biting when he gets frustrated with people I have children. And my other dog doesn't bite at all.
