How Long Will It Be Before Baby Tree Swallows Who Are Still Being Fed, Learn To Fly, Leave The Birdhouse? The Parents Are Becoming Aggressive And I Want To Take The House Away As Soon As Possible.

I do not wish to harm the parent tree swallows nor their young, but I cannot mow, water, weed or feed other birds in my own backyard. Each time I try to leave my deck, I am getting mercilessly dive bombed!

Well about 2-8 weeks to grow up and about 6 weeks to learn to fly.
But why take the bird house away just because they are getting aggressive?
Don't take the bird house away until no one flies out of it and until you can't hear any peeping noises.

    Thank you for your time!

I was able to take the birdhouse away yesterday, just about when I was at the end of my rope. (Prior to that I wasn't able to hang clothes, water dying flowers and definitely not barbeque). The final baby took off on its first flight with a parent. I watched and no bird came back into the house for a full 24 hours. I have not seen the swallows at all in the area today. Thanks for your answer, Holly. I am putting a birdhouse up again, but this time on a post at the end of our yard - farthest point away from the deck.
