My daughters hamster had babies two weeks ago, how long should we leave them before disturbing the nesting?

Well when i had hamsters , we left them for about 4 weeks until they became more independent not needing to be with the mother all the time.

I depends on what kind of hamster it is. Dwarf hamsters can be handled and the cage cleaned after 2 weeks. Here is a website that I found on Dwarf hamsters that helped me so much
