What Do You Do For An Opossum With Dry Skin?

I am raising an orphaned opossum that has just opened its eyes. I noticed that it has some dry skin on it's neck, and feet. Is there something that I can feed it to help or a medicine I can apply? Thank you.

The orphaned opossum can get dry skin conditions due to stress. There are two possible reasons of dry skin in orphaned opossum. Number one is separation from mother and number two taking him in to hands by children. Avoid this from children. Another reason is substitute pouch which is usually dry. To treat this, use baby oil. What arrangements you have made for heating? Use  substitute pouches available in market. Use special diet made for marsupials. There are different types of milk and feed according to age of the  orphaned opossum.
